My Story

Meet the Owner

Welcome!  I’m Blaire Burdette, owner of Pieces.  Since the time I was a little girl, I had the passion for fashion and all things that went along with it. Putting on fashion shows with my mom’s clothes and BIG earrings when I was young. I guess you could say that I was born with style.

After high school I decided to go to Atlanta, where I attended American Inter Continental University and majored in Fashion Design and Marketing. I was instantly in love and automatically knew that one day I wanted to have my own store. Studying abroad in London and managing a high- end retail store for several years after graduating college, I then decided it was time to make a move…back to South Carolina.

A few years later, all the “pieces” fell into place and my dream store became a reality. This is where my love for fashion and style came together.

Fashionable accessories for the fashionista and her home was my thought… tired of traveling out of town to find one-of-a-kind pieces for the home and to accessorize her wardrobe, I decided to bring these treasures to Florence.

Located right next door to my mom’s flooring and interior design store, it was a no brainer. My mom carries more traditional things and I am trendy, yet sophisticated… It was perfect!
